Sending special thanks to Shakema Wall and her family. When Shakema was 15 years old, she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called dysgerninoma. She has been a survivor for eight years! This year, Shakema hosted The Trail of Teal at Lake Mayer, an event that raised $2,500 for patient assistance programs at The Children’s Hospital at MUMC.
