Four Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools Awarded by Georgia’s SSAS

Four Savannah- Chatham County Public schools are being recognized for improvement and achievement during the 2009-2010 school year. SSU Runs At Appalachian State The Savannah State indoor track team ran in the Appalachian State Open on January 15. The men’s and women’s 4x400m relay teams won first place as did Amara Jones (women’s 400m) and Miguel Velasquez (men’s 800m). Eric Plump was second in the men’s 200m and Darrius Baker was third.
