Wilson-Smalls Awarded Carver State Employee of the Year

Robert James and Sharice Wilson-Smalls Robert James and Sharice Wilson-Smalls Sharice Wilson-Smalls recently received the coveted Carver State Bank Employee of the Year Award for 2011. Wilson, a Customer Service Representative at the bank’s new Martin Luther King, Jr Boulevard office, joined the Carver staff in 2008.

A native of Savannah and a graduate of A.E. Beach High School, Wilson- Smalls has attended Mercer University and Limestone College where she received her B.S. in Business Administration and Computer Science. She has completed several customer service and bank operations courses and workshops. In addition to her current position, she works as accounts payable clerk and serves as a teller when needed. Prior to joining the Carver staff, she worked for The Kicklighter Resource Center of Savannah. “It is such a pleasure to work for a company such as Carver and I am truly honored to receive this award,” she said.

The Carver State Bank Employee of the Year for 2011 is married to Kenneth R. Smalls, III, and the couple attends God’s Grace and Mercy Ministries Church. She is the daughter of Bruce & Ida Floyd, also of Savannah.
