On Thursday, September 23, at 6 p.m., The Savannah Ocean Exchange and the Ships of the Sea Museum present the amazing J'miah Nabawi, teaching/performing artist and national award-winning professional storyteller whose Ocean-inspired stories delight old and young alike.
Following Nabawi, The Savannah Ocean Exchange and Ships of the Sea Museum will present the Savannah Ceili Band in a concert of traditional tunes and sea chanteys, collected from around our great country and the globe. Both events are free, and will be held under the tent
in our garden.
Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, founded in 1966, exhibits ship models, paintings and maritime antiques, principally from the great era of Atlantic trade and travel between England and America during the 18th and 19th centuries.
The Savannah Ocean Exchange includes the following: Savannah Coastal Cuisine, public lecture Series, boat building, field excursions, music, art ships on the river front and local attractions.
