Hope Gallery
The American Cancer Society will be hosting its first ever Hope Gallery from 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm, on September 10, at Churchill's Pub and Restaurant.
The Hope Gallery is a silent auction that will feature art work from local artist. Churchill's Pub and Restaurant will be donating 10% of all meals that night to the American Cancer Society.
“We are excited to have local artist donate some amazing artwork to our gallery,” said Kasey Parsh, Event Coordinator. “Artists like Bill Ballard, Liza Judson, Barbara Gentry, and many more, have already contributed some of their pieces to the gallery.”
This is the American Cancer Society's first time hosting the Hope Gallery. Parsh hopes that this will be a big success and that this will become an annual event.
“Even though this is our first time doing this event, we have received a lot of support from local artists and they seem to be as excited as we are,” said Parsh.
There will be “buy it now” options available for the art in the silent auction.
Parsh said this event is open to the public and hopes all the local art lovers will attend.
“This event is really for anyone who has an appreciation for art,” said Parsh. “Even if you don't plan on participating in the auction, we encourage you to come out to Churchill's, have a meal, and enjoy the art.”
