Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Holds Underground Round-Up Retreat

Participants of the round-up retreat Participants of the round-up retreat The members of the South Atlantic Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority Incorporated were welcomed to Savannah, Georgia for their Undergraduate Round-Up Retreat. The ladies of this illustrious organization gathered together from colleges in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina to mix and mingle, and nevertheless conduct the business of their sorority.

The two undergraduate chapter hostesses were the city's very own Gamma Upsilon chapter of Savannah State University and the Sigma Tau chapter of Armstrong Atlantic State University. These two chapters were very pleased and honored to welcome so many of their sorority members to beautiful Savannah.

The weekend was full of many unique workshops encouraging time management, leadership, and their number one priority, scholastics.

There were many graduate members at the conference who guided these young ladies through yet another great experience in their organization.

The women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated are continuing to uplift their platform of sisterhood, scholarship and service throughout their sorority and especially their community.

This was definitely an unforgettable weekend and was truly a growing experience for the undergraduate members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
