Health Restoration Fibromyalgia Is No Joke

Fibromyalgia is a common diagnosis today which encompasses many varied symptoms. Some seemingly unrelated, but common among suffers. Some of the symptoms go across body systems; and includes joint stiffness, chronic body pain, vision abnormalities, chronic headache, sensitivity to chemicals, muscle twitches, generalized weakness, forgetfulness, breathing troubles, weight gain and loss, nausea, sleep problems, fatigue, digestive problems, depression and moodiness, and so much more.
Years ago there was no diagnosis for this array of ailments and doctors many times named it malingering. However as more and more folk began to complain of this long list of vague and seemingly unrelated symptoms, it came to be called fibromyalgia. Chronic sufferers seemed to get no relief from common OTC pain relievers such as aspirin, acetaminophen, and ibuprofen. But, found lifestyle changes that included attention to diet, exercise, and nutritional supplementation, much more beneficial.
A common dilemma in persons who complain of this varied array of symptoms, is one of mal-absorption in the colon. It appears that these persons are often nutrient deprived due to problems of the digestive system including stomach upsets, parasites, irritable bowel, and more. This creates a need for colon cleansing to remove mucus and other dried up waste blocking the pathways to vital nutrient absorption.
Many people also suffer from food allergies, but, because they want to eat ( and enjoy ) the foods anyway, they ignore or medicate themselves against the offending food’s distress. Food allergies exacerbate health problems and the discomfort they cause. Because a food allergy does not kill you immediately, or send you to the emergency room, does not mean it’s not causing long-term harm.
If you feel bad after eating or drinking something, stop eating it. And not only that, if you’ve had this habit, you are a prime candidate for a de-toxing regimen. Here are some things you might consider changing if you have fibromyalgia, or suspect you might: Chew your food longer to stimulate enzymes for better digestion. Don’t eat meat and dairy in the same meal, and don’t have fruits and sweets in the same meal with animal protein and animal fats. Eat only when you are hungry. Sip water with meals, but not much. It’s better to drink liquids between meals. Avoid packaged and refined foods.
Pay special attention to how you feel after eating, if you find some food makes you feel bad, in any way, remove it from your diet for at least three months. Drink at least 8 glasses of pure water daily. Water helps digestion, elimination, detoxification and cleansing. The essential fatty acids are often deficient in persons with fibromyalgia.
Good sources from foods include mackerel, herring, sardines, salmon, olive oil, walnuts, pecans, cashews, almonds, and avocados, eat plenty.
Eliminate nightshade foods, which slow down collagen repair in the joints and promotes the inflammatory process. Tomatoes, white potatoes, eggplant, and peppers. Also avoid sugar, wheat, dairy products, fermented foods, molds (cheese) and yeast. Yeast can cause irritation in the intestines. And, rethink artificial sweeteners and non-dairy creamers. After cleaning up your diet, give some thought to creating a healthy balance in your life overall. Learning to say no, getting more rest time, play time, ‘me’ time, to enjoy your life. This too is necessary for healing and stress management.
