Savannah Wildcats Fall to the Wilmington Sea Dawgs

The Savannah Wildcats suffered a tough loss against the Wilmington Sea Dawgs, ending the game with a final score of 101 - 89.

The Wildcats maintained the lead all throughout the first half, ending the half with a five point lead with a score of 48 - 53. Conversely the Sea Dawgs managed to come back in the third quarter making an 18 - 4 run.

The Wildcats made their second run in the fourth quarter getting to a six point deficit however the Wildcats had a few crucial turnovers in the fourth that allowed the Sea Dawgs to capitalize for the win.

Wildcat's guard, Joseph Fleger, made a solid contribution to finish off the game with 19 points and 4 rebounds. Forwards Brian Moultrie and Franchot Brown, also put forth a valiant effort, with Moutrie scoring 17 points and crashing the boards with 18 rebounds. Brown ended the game with 14 points and 4 rebounds.

The Wildcats will be playing the Wilmington Sea Dawgs once again in the CBL Championship Game at the Cape Fear Community College Schwartz Center on Sunday, June 27th at 6:05 pm.

Season pass holders will be able to attend the game free of charge. Regular ticket prices will apply. Tickets will be on sale at the door starting at 5:00 p.m.
