Top Ladies Attend 2010 Leadership Conference and Participate in the Susan Komen Cancer Walk
Members of the Savannah Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated and the Savannah Chapter of Top Teens of America attended the Area IV 28th Leadership Conference during March 18- 21, 2010 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida: The conference theme was "Enhancing The Tradition: The Change, The Commitment". The national theme is,"Empowering Youth and Adults to Provide Exemplary Service with Passion and Purpose"
At the Leadership Conference, the Savannah Chapter received 3rd place for Top Lady of the Year, represented by Lady (Dr.) Jacquelyn Stephen, 2nd place for Scrapbook of the Year, and 3rd place for Attendance.
Ladies in attendance at the Leadership Conference were: President, Annette Mitchell, First Vice President, Janie B. Bruen, Second Vice President, Daisy Williams, Organizer, (Dr.) Jacquelyn Stephens, Versie DuPont, Carrie Howard, Bertha Martin, Eddie Lee Marsh, Top Teen Advisor, Carolyn Stanley, and Nicole Williams.
Top Teens in attendance at the Leadership Conference were: President, Jasamine Williams, Timeka Armstrong Levelyn Bridges, Catlin Creech, DaShonte Hinton, Allen Johnson, Lexus Johnson, Amber Miles, Mikeela Murray, April Norton, Darius Scott, Q'unique Toxey, Quandalyn Waldon, and Milan Wilson.
On Saturday, April 17, 2010, members of Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated, participated in the Susan Komen Race for Cure Walk. Top Ladies walked as a team with Bertice Berry and her family. Dr.Berry was the Grand Marshall for the Savannah Walk.
Ladies participating in the walk were: Annette Mitchell, Nicole Williams, and Carolyn Stanley, Status of Women, Chairperson.
