The Pastor, Officers, and members of St. Paul C.M.E. Church, 1601 Barnard Street, invite you to join us for “PowerFest at The Paul”, an exciting three nights of empowerment, impact, and inspiration.
On April 14th, 15th, and 16th, we will host two powerful men of God: Our
PowerFest Presenter, Pastor Martris Mims of Thankful Baptist Church in Blythe, Georgia and our PowerFest Preacher, Pastor Otis Moss III, nationallyrenowned shepherd of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois.
Pastor Mims is a graduate of the Southern Bible Institute & Seminary and holds a Bachelor Degree in Theology. He furthered his education at Morris College, Morehouse College Extension Programs and Victory Bible College. In 1999, he was called to pastor the Thankful Missionary Baptist Church in Blythe, Georgia where he has been serving faithfully for eleven years.Pastor Mims is married to Rebecca Holmes Mims, and they are the proud parents of one son, Justin Martris.
Pastor Otis Moss, III
Pastor Moss received his bachelor of arts in religion and philosophy from Morehouse College and a Master of Divinity from Yale University. Pastor Moss has done extensive research in the areas of African American culture, theology, and youth development. Pastor Moss is a sought-after speaker across the globe for his expertise in the study of the Post-Soul generation and hip hop. Pastor Moss is married to Monica Brown Moss and they have a son, Elijah Wynton and a daughter, Makayla Elon.
