Safe Kids Savannah Preparing for Giant Yard Sale Fundraiser
Safe Kids Savannah will soon be accepting donations for a yard sale fundraiser. Items should be gently used and can range from bric-a-brac to furniture. Donated items can be dropped off between March 15 and 19 at 8832 Old Montgomery Road in Savannah from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Arrangements can also be made to have items picked up.
The yard sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, at 8832 Old Montgomery Road in Savannah (rain or shine). All proceeds will benefit Safe Kids Savannah.
“This is perfect for anyone who is doing some early spring cleaning,” said Alison Gramza, Coordinator of Safe Kids Savannah. “The items donated for our yard sale will help generate funds to continue important programs aimed at preventing accidental childhood injury.”
Safe Kids Savannah is one of more than 400 grassroots coalitions in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico that bring together health and safety experts, educators, corporations, foundations, governments and volunteers to educate and protect families. Safe Kids Savannah is a member of Safe Kids Worldwide, a global network of organizations dedicated to preventing accidental injury. The Safe Kids Savannah Coalition was initiated in 1988 when representatives from local organizations and individuals came together with the common goal of preventing accidental childhood injuries.
