Local dentist Dr. Phillip W. Cooper demonstrates proper brushing technique to children in Ghana. Goodness & Mercy Foundation, Inc. will sponsor its annual “Hands Across Africa” Gala - Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront Ballroom. A Silent Auction will begin at 6:00P.M., and the program and dinner will begin at 7:00P.M.

Goodness and Mercy Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit human service foundation that provides much needed medical care, medical supplies, and health education to low income families and others at risk in underserved areas in Africa.

Every year, Dr. Eugene Nwosu, a local cardiologist and founder of Goodness & Mercy, takes a group of volunteer doctors, dentists, nurses, and others from the Savannah area and around the country on medical missions to undeveloped villages in Nigeria and Ghana.

With your help, the Goodness and Mercy volunteers can continue to provide medical care to people who are otherwise forced to go without.

Donation for the Gala is only $75.00. Your gift will help improve the quality of life for these hard-working, proud people.
