Bob Losure's “Lights...Camera…Cancer” 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, Mercer Auditorium, William and Iffath Hoskins Center for Biomedical Research at Memorial University Medical Center This event is part of the distinguished lecture series presented by the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute at Memorial University Medical Center. Bob Losure was a local television news anchor in Oklahoma when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He was forced to quit his job to undergo treatment. After months of chemotherapy, Losure landed a job at CNN Headline News in Atlanta. He spent more than a decade sharing historic events with the nation. In his inspiring lecture, Losure gives hope to anybody who has ever been touched by cancer. No tickets required.
