CERT Training

Are you the person who would help your neighbor in the time of a disaster? A natural disaster can occur at anytime or any place, it can affect the whole county or it can affect just one neighborhood. Be part of a team of trained residents that leads in recovery; become a member of Chatham County’s Community Emergency Response Team, better known as CERT. Beginning March 6th, the Chatham Emergency Management Agency will offer a 20 hour training program to teach residents to work in teams to assist during emergency situations. The CERT course will be taught March 6, 7, 13 and 14 in Savannah. You must register by March 1, 2010. Participants must attend all four days of training to complete the course. For additional information, please contact Courtney Cunningham at CEMA, 912-201 4508 or via email at kccunnin@chathamcounty.or
