First African Baptist Church, 23 Montgomery St. at Franklin Square will host a Music and Arts Workshop on January 22-24, 2010.

The theme is “Ministry Excellence to the Glory of God” The Rev. Vincent Bland of Louisville, Kentucky will be our guest facilitator.

The workshop is scheduled to begin on Friday, January 22nd at 6:30 p.m. and continue through Saturday, January 23rd beginning at 10 a.m. All children, teen and adult choir, praise team and praise dance members are invited to attend in order to hear how your ministry can enhance the worship experience.

A ministry presentation will be given at the 10:30 a.m. Worship experience on Sunday, January 24th for our Andrew Bryan recognition where Rev. L. K. Curry of Chicago, Illinois will be the guest preacher.

We honor Rev. Andrew Bryan, who was the second pastor of this historic congregation.

Rev. Thurmond N. Tillman is the host pastor.
