First Bryan Celebrates 222 Years of Continuous Service

Historic First Bryan Baptist Church extends a special invitation to their 222nd Church Anniversary services. Our theme is: "Embracing 222 Years of Our Spiritual Legacy: A Fulfillment of God's Purpose, Plans and Provisions."

The anniversary services will be held the week of Wednesday, January 13 through Friday, January 15, 2010 with nightly services at 7:00 p.m. The historic anniversary services will conclude with a special morning worship service on Sunday, January 17, 2010, 11:00 a.m.

Each nightly service will consist of anointed teaching, praise and worship, historical presentations through video and various groups participating beginning on Wednesday, January 13th with An Intergenerational Emphasis Night - Bringing Youth and Senior Adults Together to Bridge the Generational Paths.

On Thursday, January 14th, will host Family and Friends Night. On Friday, January 15th will be Deacons and Deaconess Recognition.

Rev. Edward L. Ellis, Jr., pastor, along with the congregation invite the entire Savannah community and especially those whose spiritual journey has included First Bryan, to come praise the Lord with us, for being ever faithful to Mother Bryan.
