The City of Savannah's Leadership Development Institute in collaboration with the Chatham County Youth Commission are hosting the Teen Leadership Summit on November 21, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Coastal Georgia Center located at 305 Fahm Street.

The Teen Leadership Summit will feature workshops for teens on how to pursue personal, future and community excellence. Workshops topics include: Divas By Designs: A Self Image and Self Esteem Check up (for females only), Making the Right Moves without the Ball(for males only) , The Power of Leadership, Hip Hop 101, Utilizing Poetry as a Tool for Empowerment, Money Management Tips for Teens and much more.

The summit will also include entertainment by Du Wop Boyz out of Atlanta and the Key note speaker for the Summit will be Cee Cee Michaela from the UPN hit comedy “Girlfriends”.
