Delaney Ministries recently donated $500.00 to the Saints Athletic Club for St. Paul Academy. The school was founded by Rev. Delaney in 1993 on the basis of providing academic support for students with learning support needs. Saint Paul was recently accepted into the South Carolina Independent Schools Association and will begin competing in SCISA athletics in the 2010-11 school years. “I think it’s a great accomplishment to be accepted in such a prestigious league,” said first year athletics director Lee Pearson, Jr. The athletics fund helps to support all functions of the athletics and activities department as well as helps to support the general scholarship fund for Saint Paul Academy. St. Paul will participate in high school athletics for the first time in school history, competing provisionally in 2009-10. “We are very excited about the efforts of Coach Pearson and his support staff,” said Rev.
