First New A.M.C to hold Women’s Conference, Birthday Celebration for Bishop Shabazz

The public is cordially invited to come and celebrate with us at our 1st Annual Women's Conference and Birthday Celebration for Bishop Estella Shabazz at First New A.M.C. Church on November 6-8, 2009.
All worship services of this anointed conference will be held at the church located at 2611 Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd.
The opening worship service of the conference will be held on Friday, November 6,2009 at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Dorothy Manker- Tanksley, founder and Pastor of Restoration Praise and Worship Ministries, Inc. will be our guest Pastor and speaker.
On Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 12:00 noon will be The Hour of Power with the Daughters of Thunder. This year the Daughters of Thunder will include Min. Lori Blige, Rev. Chandra George, Founder and Pastor of Sanctuary of Restoration, Rev. Lolita Hickman of Connor's Temple M8C, Rev. Josephine Seegars, of Litway MBC, Min. Janice Swan-Butts, Min. Antoinette "Tina" Gordon, and Min. Shirley Wright all of the Thankful MBC. Attire: T-shirts, blue jeans or jean skirts.
On the evening of Saturday, November 7, 2009, Bishop Estella's birthday celebration and Benefit Dinner will be held at the elegant Con-Ed ballroom at 714 Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd. and Gwinnett.
Benefit contribution is $10.00 per person. The proceeds will benefit the Savannah SAFE Sheiter. Attire: Semi-formal. Tickets can be purchased at Shabazz Seafood Restaurant, corner of MLK and Victory Drive, or at the church.
On Sunday, November 8,2009 at 11:00 a.m. will be the closing worship service of the conference. Evangelist Connie Williams of St. Paul C.M.E. church will be our guest speaker.
