On behalf of the students, faculty, staff and administration, I welcome you to Homecoming 2009. This special event promises to be one of the most exciting celebrations yet. We look forward to having our many alumni and supporters return each year to fellowship with classmates and friends, and take note of the growing campus.

As this homecoming will recognize the 60th anniversary of the Savannah State University National Alumni Association’s charter, I commend the members for their commitment to their alma mater. Their ongoing support for increased student scholarships, student initiatives and academic expansion on all fronts is crucial.
