Young Professionals of Savannah will celebrate their 4th Anniversary with a party on October 22nd, 2009 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Sol, located at 1611 Habersham St., Savannah GA 31401.

All proceeds from the event will benefit The First Tee of Savannah, a non-profit organization teaching life skills experience to less fortunate young adults through the game of golf. Tickets are available for purchase online www.ypsav.net.

Tickets are $20 for members, $35 members plus a guest, and $30 for guests and include two drink tickets for drink specials, light foods and "Soul for the Sol" entertainment provided by the local favorites' band SOAP. Raffle tickets will be sold separately for a chance to win prizes from event sponsors. Desotorow Gallery will hold a silent auction featuring artwork from local artists.

"The First Tee of Savannah is both honored and pleased that the Young Professionals has chosen us as the recipient of their fundraising efforts. At a time when organizations are decreasing their capacity and their ability to reach out is limited, this organization has fully embraced us and our mission,” said Karen Bogans, Executive Director of The First Tee of Savannah. “The funds raised have enabled children to continue to participate in our program despite economic challenges. These same children will one day become the Young Professionals of tomorrow, and will remember a time when someone reached out to help them."
