St. John Baptist Church “The Mighty Fortress” will host its 11th Annual Family and Friends Day Community Picnic on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Matilda Beasley Park (located on East Broad Street next to East Broad Elementary School). The surrounding community is invited to join us for food, fun, games, and fellowship.

Rev. Dr. George P. Lee, III On Sunday, October 11, 2009, the public is invited to continue fellowshipping with us during our 11th Annual Family and Friends Day Worship Services beginning at 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. respectively. Our very own pastor, Rev. Dr. George P. Lee III will deliver both messages. The theme for the occasion is “Fellowship of Friendship.”

We look forward to meeting and greeting all of you as we give thanks and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the marvelous works he has done, and to the entire Savannah community for your continuous support of our church, our pastor, and our ministries.
