“Man on the Street”
2009-09-23 / Social & Community News
The Savannah Tribune
has begun a series entitled Man on the Street,
in which we pose question to people within the community for their thoughts on current issues. This week’s question was “How do you feel about Chatham County Schools redistricting?”
Josh Culbreth “It's not necessarily a bad thing, it can alleviate schools that may be overwhelmed with student to teacher ratios.”
Kurt Hetager “If it ain't broke, don't fix it.”
Stephanie Thomas “I am not bothered by the redistricting because I feel my feel child is old enough to make a smooth transition and probably won't have to switch schools anyway.”
Jemma Sherwood “I think it will allow a lot of students to get into better schools, get better test scores; allowing students a better chance to get a better education.”
