AWWIN’s Women’s Hand Up Challenge Issues Charge to Men
Miller Bargeron
For about the last ten years, Sarahlyn Argrow of AWWIN, Inc. has dedicated her life to helping women who are less fortunate and are in need of a hand up to achieve their goals of self sufficiency and becoming a productive citizen. Therefore, it is an honor for me to support AWWIN’s 12,000 Women Hand Up Challenge.
This Challenge is a fund raising effort to raise $240,000 to continue the great work of AWWIN Inc. The challenge is simply asking 12,000 individuals to donate $20, which is a small sacrifice for such a great cause.
As a result of AWWIN’s 12,000 Women Hands Up Challenge, I will formally issue a challenge on Friday, September 25, 2009, at 6:00 p.m., at the old Disney Store in the Savannah Mall, to all men.
I am asking all men to stand with me in support of many women with great potential who are currently in need. I am asking that all men donate at least $20 to AWWIN 12,000 Women Hand Up Challenge as we work toward ending what I call the “Turtle Syndrome.”
“The Turtle Syndrome” emulates the situation that a lot of AWWIN clients are currently going through. Keep in mind that the “Turtle Syndrome” affects men also.
Ladies, I ask you to come out on Friday, September 25 to support Miller and other men in our communities as they step to plate and assist AWWIN with our mission in assisting single working women and their children in our communities.
I am pleased to announce Comcast as our first corporate sponsor.

Thanks Miller Bargeron, Jr.
