The Creative Coast Alliance (TCCa) has announced that tickets are now on sale for its second annual Innovation Awards, presented by Lott + Barber.

In an effort to lower the barrier for entrepreneurs and small business owners, TCCa and Lott + Barber are providing their own "stimulus package" and have lowered the ticket price from last year by one-third, to $50 per person, if purchased before Oct. 1. Tickets are $60 if purchased afterward.

On Thursday, October 22, TCCa will be "taking it to the street" - Broughton Street, specifically - blocking off the street between Lincoln and Abercorn Streets in front of SCAD's Trustees Theater for cocktails, conversation and hors d’oeuvres.

The awards presentation will follow inside the Theater promptly at 8pm, honoring the best and brightest innovators in and around Savannah’s Creative Coast.

The judges for the 2009 Innovation Awards are as follows: Small Business – Lynn Vos & Gordon Matthews; Business – Craig Lesser & Bill Cathcart;Education, Community & Government – State Rep. Ron Stephens & Rev. Micheal Elliott; and Sustainability – Scott Boylston & Leesa Carter.
