Ben Riley, Grace Kelly to Perform During Savannah Jazz Festival

The 28th Annual Savannah Jazz Festival began on Sunday, September 20, at Blowin’ Smoke Restaurant, 514 Martin Luther King, Blvd., and will run through Sunday, September 27. Among the performers will be pianist Mose Alison, saxophonist Grace Kelly, Ben Riley Trio, guitarist Jim Hall, and many others.

Ben Riley Ben Riley On Wednesday, September 23, beginning at 7p.m. at Armstrong Atlantic State University featuring International Groove Conspiracy, The FlyCats, and Longineu Parsons and Flight of the Vultures.

On Thursday, September 24, at 7 p.m. bring your lawn chairs to Forsyth Park for Blues Night with The Eric Culberson Blues Band, Shane Pruitt Group and Mose Allison with Ben Tucker.

On Friday, September 25, 7 p.m. the festival continues at Forsyth Park with the Skylite Jazz Band of Savannah Arts Academy, Groove 8, and the University of Florida Jazz Ensemble.

On Saturday, September 26 at the park enjoy jazzy sounds beginning at 3 p.m. with The Jazz Corner All Stars, J.B. Scott’s Swinging All-Stars, CJA Hall of Fame All Stars, Grace Kelly, Ben Riley Trio, and the Savannah Orchestra featuring Doug Carn.

Grace Kelly Grace Kelly On Sunday, September 27, at 4 p.m. Ronald McDonald will make a special appearance during the Savannah Youth Jazz Festival On Friday and Saturday, enjoy the 11 p.m. After Festival Jam Session at Blowin’ Smoke.
