Virginia Edwards The Chatham Retired Educators Association is ready to commence its 2009- 2010 year.

We are definitely enthused about it, because we are anxious about working with our new president, Mrs. Virginia Edwards and the slate of officers.

Inspite of our greeting and meeting, there is so much joy within the association.

One exciting event that comes to mind is that president-elect for the Georgia Retired Educators Association is within our local association, Mrs. Dorothy Wilson.

We are looking forward to a year of greatness and learning as we go.

Our first meeting will be held on September 14, 2009 at our regular meeting place, Carey Hilliard's Restaurant on Abercorn Extension.

The cost of the luncheon is $14.00. The time is from 10:30am until 12:00 p.m.

This meeting is held beginning September through April 2010, every second Monday excluding January.

We look forward to you coming and bringing another retiree.
