Gregory Tyson, Pastor, First Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, presents Coach Robby Wells, Football Coach, Savannah State University, with a check for $1500.00. Pastor Gregory A. Tyson, Sr. and the First Jerusalem MB Church was host to Savannah State University Athletic Football Team on Sunday, September 6, 2009.

Coach Robby Wells was presented with $1,500.00 by First Jerusalem in support of SSU Athletics. Pastor Tyson has challenged all other churches to match or exceed First Jerusalem's donation to SSU in an effort to assist SSU in achieving excellence both on and off the grid iron.

As Coach Wells told the congregation, “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.

First Jerusalem would like to thank our very own Edwin Morris for reaching out to these young men to worship with us.

We would also like to congratulate SSU on their season opener win on Saturday, September 5, 2009 against Livingstone College.
