Bethel A.M.E. to hold Fifty Women in White Pew Rally

The Carrie Butler Women Auxiliary of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1814 East 38th Street, will sponsor a Fifty Women in White Pew Rally on Sunday, August 30, 2009, 4:00 p.m.

The theme for this occasion is The Working of the Body of Christ, a dramatization depicting the greatness of God in creating the physical body of man.

The featured guest soloist will be Mrs. Lori Lewis. Mrs. Lewis is a native of Savannah, GA and a graduate of Windsor Forest High School. She earned an undergraduate degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University and a Master's degree from Nova Southeastern University. She is currently District Manager of Systems Training and Information Support for the Savannah- Chatham Board of Public Education. Lori is a lifelong member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church where she sings in the choir, serves on the official board, and several other auxiliaries. Recognized by True Beauty Magazine as one of Savannah's “Anointed Angelic Voices”, she is the lead singer of the group New Beginnings who has performed on the Bobby Jones Gospel New Artist Showcase in New Orleans, LA in Ma Lori is married to Rev. Robert Lewis, III and they are the proud parents of nine year-old Gabrielle Rebekah. The public is cordially invited to attend. You will truly be richly blessed.
