Smith Named to Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors

Chris Smith Chris Smith Chris Smith, an attorney at HunterMaclean, has been named to the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Savannah, a non-profit organization that provides a safe, welcoming place for more than 1,500 local youth and their families.Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Savannah has a mission to provide a safe, welcoming place for youth and their families which builds character and enables growth and excellence in developing academically, socially, ethically, productive, responsible leaders and citizens.

The Club has many features including a gymnasium, teen center, games room, kids cafe, computer room, art room. We have made it our goal to offer programs and fun to as many youth as possible. Site locations include Kayton/Frazier Homes, Savannah; City of Savannah Crusader Center; City of Savannah Tatemville Center and a Teen Center in Richmond Hill.

A member of HunterMaclean's Business Litigation Group, Smith represents clients in the areas of products liability, premises liability, medical malpractice and construction law. He has argued cases before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court and has been named a Rising Star by Georgia Super Lawyers and Atlanta Magazine.

Originally from Annapolis, Md., Smith earned a B.S. in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. He is the former president of the Savannah Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division and is an active community volunteer.
