Kid-Friendly Puppets and Savannah Celebrities Launch Johnny Mercer Centennial Fund Raiser

Fun will abound as Angela Beasley and her Puppet People -- “Ruby Pearl” and “Johnny Mercer” -- join in for a Celebrity Fundraiser at Chick Fil A, Savannah Mall only, to benefit the Johnny Mercer Centennial. The non-profit 501-C3 organization will receive a percentage of their sales during the hours of 5- 8 pm.

Now busy soliciting tips from family, friends and community supporters, the Celebrity Wait Staff will be available to serve Chick- Fil-A guests from 6-7 pm.

Celebrity waiters include: "Big Frank" Sulkowski (Sport Director WJCL/FOX 28), Jesse Blanco (Anchor FOX 28), Stacy Jennings (Marketing Director, Savannah Morning News) , Tanya Scott-Pilcher (GET Skills), Angela Beasley (Puppet People of Savannah) is bringing truck stop waitress "Ruby Pearl” (who cleans tables!) and “Johnny Mercer," Marronde Lotson (Director, Economic Development, City of Savannah), Kenny Hill (Executive Director, Savannah Waterfront Association), Ray Steele (host/account executive, Star 1400), Bill Edwards (News Director, 1290/WTKS), and Anthony Fulton (Hospital Liaison for Lifelink).
