Second African Trojans Celebrate 58th Anniversary

The Trojans Ministry of Second African Baptist Church will present Comia Flynn-Knight accompanied by Master Pianist, Pastor C. MeGill Brown in concert on Sunday, August l6, 2009 at 5:00p.m. The theme of the evening will be "Wedding Music Through the Ages." Comia Flynn-Knight, a native Savannahian has taken leading roles off Broadway and regionally. She is a familiar artist on the local concert and religious music circuit, most recently in the local production of "The Wiz." Ms. Knight is a member of Speedwell United Methodist Church where she serves as a member of the choir often serving as lead soloist. The Trojans Ministry was organized in July of 1951. Their purpose is to work for Second African providing assistance wherever needed. Often, the group has been responsible for cultural and educational programs in the church.
