The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance is excited about our mission to sponsor a Back to School event for the entire community.

Our goal is to lend a helping hand to over 2500 children and families as they prepare for the 2009-2010 school year.

Ready, Set, Go Back to School is scheduled for Saturday, August 15 at 10 am in the Savannah Civic Center. This event will have information for parents and youth regarding health, nutrition, safety, school registration, school lunch program, after school programs, tutorial also there will be entertainment and a fashion show by Macys.

The health department will provide information for immunization and CVS diabetic center will check blood sugar. We are still inviting exhibitors to setup a display booth to provide information that will benefit our families and children. The booth set up fee is $50 for all businesses and free for non-profit organizations. Deadline for booths are August 10, 2009.This event is free to the public.
