Another Miracle From God

Evangelist Rachel Thomas Evangelist Rachel Thomas The Lord's plan and time schedule is seen in the conquest of Jericho by Joshua and Israel God's plan was for Israel to march once silently around Jericho for six days in succession and on the seventh day they were to march around the walls of the city they were to sound the trumpet and shout and God promised that the walls would come tumbling down.

They did, and God brought down the walls. Like Israel of old, God has a plan and a time for every work in our life; we would be wise to operate on His timetable and not our.

The impulsive man gets an idea, runs off half-cocked in all directions and leaves behind a string of unfinished projects. He majors in starting things without any consideration for plans of timing, therefore he falls to finish anything and leaves life cluttered with a lot of loose ends hanging. Strange, but they often call this faith; it's really presumption. Just as bad is the man who never starts anything. He is fearful, faithless, or lazy and lets his ideas slip away as opportunities pass by. Both the impulsive man and the fearful man are wrong. Only the man who waits for God's plan and timing experiences the joy of victoriously completing his task.

How long should a man wait? When should he wait? If God gives you an idea, remember it is God's idea and He will be the force to accomplish it you are only the agent He will use.

The man who waits on God to use him will be the most active and the most involved in the operation.

As long as there is doubt-don't. If God has given you an idea, he will give you the faith to believe the idea can be materialized. So wait on God-He will bring it to pass.
