Shabazz to Deliver Initial Sermon on Father’s Day 2009
      Yusuf K. Shabazz, a member of First New A.M.C. Church, will deliver his initial sermon on Father's Day, Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. The church is located at 2611 Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd., Savannah, Georgia 31415. Yusuf K. Shabazz is a native of Savannah, Georgia. He is the son on Mr. Jimmy and Mrs. Laura Jackson. He spent many years of his life under the tutelage of his grandfather the late Rev. George Carter, former Pastor of the historic Shiloh Baptist Church and the historic Abyssinia Baptist Church where he also received ministerial guidance.
