Greenbriar Kicks off 60th Anniversary

Greenbriar Children's Center held a reception to kick off their 60th Anniversary.

The reception and open house was held at 4:00 p.m. on May 31, 2009 at the Greenbriar campus, 3709 Hopkins Street.

The founding sorority, the Gamma Sigma Omega chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc., hosted the remarkable milestone.

The reception featured a brief program highlighting Greenbriar’s past, present and future. Among the participants were Mayor Otis Johnson, Chairman Pete Liakakis, County Commission, and BRAVO Music Company.
