University of Phoenix Confers Degrees

A commencement ceremony was held on Sunday, May 17 in honor of approximately 150 students who were conferred with degrees from University of Phoenix – Savannah, a local leader in educating working professionals.
Among the graduates was Willie L.Gadson, Jr, who received his bachelor of science degree in Business Management. Willie is the son of Willie, Sr. and Ida Gadson, the brother of LaTonya and LaTosha Gadson, and the grandson of Mrs. Janie Lattimore, and the proud uncle of three, Tyrese Morris, and TeShawn and Shaunte Pope.
During the ceremony, graduates and their families had the opportunity to hear from best-selling author and Savannah resident, Bertice Berry. Additionally, Chandra Jones represented students and spoke on the topic of overcoming obstacles and being successful.
Students who have studied online or attended the Savannah campus were recognized. The most popular degree programs among these graduates are the Bachelor of Science in Business/Management and the Master of Business Administration.
