Fu to Keynote SEDA Luncheon
Ping Fu
The Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA) will host its 5th Annual Luncheon on Thursday, May 28th at 11:30 a.m. at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center.
Advance reservations are required; seating is limited. The cost is $35 per person or $280 for a table of eight.
As keynote speaker, the luncheon will feature the internationally respected thought leader and 2005 Inc. Entrepreneur of the Year, Ms. Ping Fu.
Fu arrived in the United States in 1981 as a 23-year-old student .
By 1992 she had become a US citizen. And she loves her new homeland.
She runs a growing international business that is on the cutting edge of 3- dimensional rendering. Raindrop has developed a means of capturing imagesdrawings, for example-and turning them into 3-D recreations that can be fashioned into molds and prototypes.
Fu co-founded Raindrop along with her husband, Herbert Edelsbrunner, who is a professor at Duke University.
She took over as chief executive officer of Raindrop in 2001.
