The Alpha Iota Sigma Chapter of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. wishes to thank St Philip Monumental A.M.E. Church, Butler Presbyterian Church, Savannah High School, and individuals of the community who donated sweaters during its sweaters drive in December 2008. Many beautiful and decorative sweaters for boys, girls, men and women were donated.

The sweaters were given to Greenbriar Children's Center, Inc., 3709 Hopkins Street and to the Inner City Night Shelter, 124 Arnold Streel in Savannah. "Greater Service, Greater Progres" is the sorority's motto.
