Rev. George P. Lee, III Rev. George P. Lee, III and the St. John Baptist Church family extend a warm invitation to the Savannah community and surrounding counties to attend their "Traditional" Candlelight Communion Service on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 5 p.m. The theme for the occasion is "Jesus, The Light of the World" - St. John 8:12.

This traditional consecrated service will feature seasonal music, inspirational anthems, and sacred hymns performed by The Mighty Fortress Candlelight Mass Choir, along with a consortium of instruments played by some of the city's finest musicians. "Silent Night," "Joy to the World," and "Jesus, The Light of the World" are just a few seasonal selections that will be performed for your listening pleasure. In addition, the Holy Communion will be served as a last sacrament for the "Year of New Beginnings" - two thousand and eight.

St. John Baptist Church "The Mighty Fortress" is located in historic Savannah, Georgia at 522 Hartridge Street (between East Broad and Price Streets). Additional parking and shuttle service to and from East Broad Elementary School will be available, as well as transportation for the handicapped.
