Approximately 48 seniors from Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, TN, Rev. H. Bruce Maxwell, Pastor, recently enjoyed their annual vacation in Savannah.

The seniors stayed at Country Inn & Suites Historic District Hotel. Among the highlights of their trip were: a tour with Jamal Toure of the Day Clean Journey Tours who gave them an informative history of the First African Baptist Church, Ralph Mark Gilbert Museum and other African American Historic places; lunch at Mom and Nikki; and a free trolley tour where they saw and heard more about Savannah's rich African- American history.

Some of their prior trips have included New York, Canada, Chicago, Charleston, and Philadelphia. They have been on The Today Show and saw the Broadway play "Color Purple." These seniors are truly living the life.
