Ordination Services for Gregory P. Lindsay, Jr.
The public is cordially invited to attend the Ordination Service for Reverend Gregory P. Lindsay, Jr. He has successfully completed the requirements of The Ministerial Educational Training Board of Examiners (METBOE) for the New Afrikan Methodist Christian Church (AMC). The METBOE is the examining committee of the Church that recommends ministerial condidates for ordination after all course studies are completed. Rev. Lindsay will be ordained as an Itinerant Elder in the New A.M.C. Church. The Ordination Service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2008, 6:30 p.m. At the First Afrikan Methodist Christian Church located at 2611 MLK, Jr., Blvd., Savannah.
Rev. Lindsay is the son of Mr. Gregory P. Lindsay, Sr. and Mrs. Malinda Snowden-Lindsay. He comes from a family history of ministers. He is the Grandson of the late Rev. Joseph Snowden former Presiding Elder of the African Methodist Church, and Mrs. Alice Snowden.
Rev. Lindsay graduated from Savannah High School. He is currently working on his undergraduate degree at Phoenix University in the field of Business.
The ordination message will be delivered by guest Pastor, Rev. Dr. Clarence "Teddy" Williams, Senior Pastor of First Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.
