MLK Observance Invites Student to Participate in Selection Theme

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance Day Association, Inc. invites all students grades 4-12 to participate in the selection of a theme for the 30th Annual Observance Celebration. The theme should focus on "The Philosophy of Dr. King" and should not exceed 10 words. The deadline for submitting is November 21. Entries should be mailed to: Mrs. Margaret J. Savannah Parkinson Support Group to Meet

SAVANNAH PARKINSON SUPPORT GROUP will meet Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, 5 PM, at Marsh Auditorium, Candler Hospital, 5353 Reynolds St., at DeRenne Ave. in Savannah, GA. The first speaker, Hope Lyon, a Massage Therapist, will demonstrate why massage is so helpful to Parkinson's patients. Lauren Scholar, an Occupational Therapist, who also offers Electrical Acupuncture at her Rehab Center, will explain the benefits of this fairly new procedure.
