Cofield Inducted into Nu Zeta Chapter of the International Honor Society of Educators
Jacquelyn (Jackie) Cofield was inducted into Kappa Delta PI, along with 50 other graduate and undergraduate students, during a ceremony held October 23rd at Carey Hilliard's Restaurant. Students were selected based on GP A and nominated by faculty members in the Annstrong Atlantic State University School of Education. The inductees represent the top 16 percent of those currently enrolled in the school of education.
Retired after 24 years in the United States Air Force, she currently teaches math at West Chatham Middle school and is pursuing her Master's Degree in Special Education. She is the daughter of Gus and Gloria Cofield, and the sister of Connie Chisholm.
Founded in 1911, Kappa Delta Pi encourages high professional, intellectual, and personal standards and recognizes outstanding contributions to education.
