106-year-old Women Casts Vote in Historic Election

Accompanied by Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin and friends, 106 year-old Mrs. Ann Cooper cast her vote at the Fulton County Courthouse. Mrs. Cooper said she has voted in every presidential election since she registered to vote. She never imagined seeing an African-American running for President in her lifetime. Mrs. Cooper encouraged young and old to exercise their responsibility and VOTE! "By all means, no matter what, get out and vote. Vote your choice," said Cooper. Photo credit: Susan J.
