      Wildcats Roll Past SSU The Savannah State football team received a dose of reality in a 34-9 setback from Bethune-Cookman (2-1) in front of 4,131 fans at Municipal Stadium. After getting easy wins over Livingstone and Winston- Salem State, SSU fell hard to the Wildcats as the offense stumbled and the Tigers scored their lone touchdown on defense.

2008 Cheetah Awards Banquet
      The Savannah- Chatham Silver Cheetahs Track & Field Athletes will be celebrated at the 2008 Cheetah Awards Banquet, Saturday 27, 2008, 4 - 8 pm at Delaware Community Center. The Champion Team of 21 athletes returned home with an impressive 19 medals, breaking the team's prior record.
