Savannah Baptist Center, 704 Wheaton Street, is looking for volunteers for our after school program that targets children who attend East Broad Elementary School, Spencer Elementary School and Hubert Middle School. Students arrive after school and have snack. Our goal is to then direct children to age graded classrooms for small groups to work on homework and other academics. Games or crafts can be incorporated into the classroom time.

Volunteers for middle school students need to arrive before 2:45PM and stay until 5:00PM. Volunteers for elementary students are needed 3:30PM -5:00PM. Volunteers are also needed to serve the children dinner between 4:30PM - 5:30PM. Training is provided and a criminal background check is required. (We will run the background check)
