Parent & Child is proud to announce "Custodial Parent Day Out" for the community to be held September 27, 2008, 505 East 54th St., Noon-2pm. All custodial parents and their children are encouraged to attend this free event. The purpose of this event is to recognize and salute custodial parents in Chatham County.

Parent & Child services mission is assisting families and youth in meeting life's challenges through the development of strength-based resources, community partnerships and the provisions of quality care. Research has shown that children benefit significantly from two highly involved parents and children an involved non-custodial parent have fewer behavior problems, higher level of sociability, and a higher level of school performance.

We are asking all custodial parents to please come out and join us for a day of food, fun, & facts. This event is free and open up to the community.

Parenting Times Services Program is offered by the Office of Child Support Services and coordinated by Parent and Child Services. This program is geared towards providing Visitation and Access services for the custodial parent and the non-custodial parent.
