The Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club Alumni and Friends Association commemorated the founder's birthday on Sunday, September 14 with a memorial and wreath laying ceremony in Laurel Grove Cemetery.

Frank Callen was born in Savannah, Georgia on September 18, 1886. He died in Savannah in January 1949.

Frank Callen and his wife Irma Curley Callen are buried in Laurel Grove Cemetery.
