The much-anticipated 2008 Savannah -Chatham League of Women Voters Governmental Directory has been published and is now available to the public.

The directory provides a comprehensive listing of contacts for officials in Chatham County, the City of Savannah and the County's seven other municipalities. Also included in this valuable resource are key state and federal contacts, as well as a listing of locally appointed boards and commissions. The Directory includes maps detailing district boundaries for all local, state and federal elected offices.

The League of Women Voters Chatham County Governmental Directory is considered a "must have" for all engaged citizens. The League is a nonpartisan organization which has fought since 1920 to improve our systems of government and impact public policies through citizen education and advocacy. Cost of the Directory is $10 a book, and may be ordered by contacting League VP Ruth Casey at 598-7493 or emailing to andreasilverman@comcast.net.
